Always be careful around people you dated, were romantically involved with, or engaged to before you were married.  That flame died for a reason so do not let it flare up again and burn your marriage.

May is tennis month so grab your rackets and play together.  Remember, tennis is the only game that when you don’t score you still have “love.”  Sounds like a great game for a couple.

It is National Smile Month.  Give your spouse a REAL Love Note decorated on the front with a big smile.  Inside messages include, “Happy National Smile Month,” or “Being with you makes me smile.”

Today is National Maritime Day so it is a great day for a boat ride.  Tomorrow is National Taffy Day so make sure to take some salt water taffy along on your boat ride.  Saturday is International Jazz Day.  Listen to jazz music while on your boat ride or stop by a jazz club once you dock for the evening.

The days are getting longer so decorate the front of a blue love note with a sun and on the inside write the message “As the days grow longer, so does my love for you.”

Today is National Pizza Party day so have a pizza date.  For a non-food date, Sunday is International Museum Day so head out to a local (or international) museum for a date.

Give your spouse an appreciation love note.  Our spouses do many things that often go unrecognized.  Usually we do not notice many of these things unless they go undone.  So pick something that if undone would catch your attention quicly and let your spouse know how much you appreciate that he or she does it.
