Today is National Chocolate Day. You have a number of options for a REAL Love Note today. You can make a note out of brown paper and write, “Happy National Chocolate Day” on the outside and then write on the inside, “I love you more than chocolate.” You can go the simple route and leave a chocolate bar, or box of chocolates for you loved one with a sticy note on it that says, “Sweets for my sweetie.” Of course you can make up your own idea as well. Whatever you do, keep giving those REAL Love Notes.

If you are looking for a gift to give good friends consider giving them tickets to a marriage enrichment seminar, class, or event. Make sure you know your friends well enough that they will consider such a gift a true gift and not an insult. Marriage events are going on all over the country so simply put “marriage enrichment” or “marriage seminar” in your search engine and see what is in the area.
A good marriage is truly a gift from God. Sometimes God delivers that gift through seminars, classes, or events. You might even give yourself the gift of a marriage enrichment event. Keep working at it and you can have a REAL marriage.
As we get closer to Christmas it is time to use those Christmas (or other holiday) colors to make your love notes. This week give your spouse a REAL love note describing how he or she “decorates” your life. You can even list how he or she makes your life more beautiful, fun, intellectual, easy, joyful, etc.
