REAL Date Tip #86

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

This Saturday, October 17, 2009 is Sweetest Day.  This is the time to go on that date your sweetie has been hinting about but you have not quite made it to yet.  Figure out where your sweetie wants to go most on a date and make it happen.

If for some reason you can not make that date happen take your sweetie out for sweets.

REAL Love Note Tip #126

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

October is a time of corn and hay (I am saving the pumpkins for closer to Halloween) so use these items to give your spouse a REAL Love Note.  You can:

  • decorate the outside of your note with pictures or stickers of corn, hay, scarecrows, etc. and write your message on the inside.
  • write your note on the husk of a piece of real corn.
  • on a package of Corn Nuts write the following, “I know it’s corny but I’m nuts about you,” and then give it to your spouse.  Make sure the Corn Nuts are their favorite flavor.

Take some time to give your spouse a REAL Love Note and see what happens.

REAL Date Tip #84

October is Apple Month and National Go On A Field Trip Month.  Take your spouse on a field trip to a farmers market or farm for fresh hot apple cider. Spend some time walking in cool autumn air while enjoying the changing colors of the trees. For added fun go at night and catch a hayride.
